Syntran® 1930
SYNTRAN 1930 Floor Finish Emulsion is an Acrylic Ethylene Graft Polymer for
Non-Zinc Floor Finishes and Maintainers.

Syntran 1930 is based on proprietary graft technology that combines the durability of an acrylic copolymer with the lubricity of a polyethylene.  Unlike systems which rely on abrasion for gloss and repairability, formulations based on Syntran 1930 exhibit movement of the grafted polyethylene molecules when the surface is burnished.  In addition to producing a brilliant gloss, powdering is minimized.

This new technology chemically bonds the amorphous acrylic copolymer and the crystalline polyethylene molecules, eliminating discontinuity in the dry film.  Formulations based on Syntran 1930 exhibit gloss and film clarity not possible from the physical blends of these very different materials.

Mop-on maintainers and spray buffs based on Syntran 1930 exhibit the gloss and response of high wax systems combined with the durability of acrylic products.  The unique crosslinking used in Syntran 1930 provide finishes and maintainers with good durability and the proper balance of detergent resistance and removability without the use of conventional zinc crosslinking.
