Syntran® 6160
Syntran 6160 is a 35% solids emulsion. This high density polyethylene contains a significant degree of crystallinity, which helps to impart mar resistance to coatings as well as black heel mark resistance and buffability to industrial floor polishes.

Syntran 6160 W/E is also recommended for use in water-based paper coatings, vinyl and wood coatings or resilient tile factory finishes where anti-blocking and hardness are required.

Syntran 6160 uses a unique APE FREE, nonionic emulsification system that produces a high solids emulsion with fine particle size, low viscosity and excellent stability characteristics.  This allows the formulator to develop high solids coatings and finishes with excellent gloss and stability without detracting from water resistance properties.
