(US patent 6,020,413) floor finish polymers are unique in that they are available for both high gloss formulations that will receive ultra high speed burnishing and type of pad and frequency will vary and low gloss, European type matte finishes with occasional UHS maintenance will be performed.
 Designed for use as part of the total floor maintenance program, Megatran 220 offers an excellent combination of application and use properties that provide the end user consistent and dependable value. By modifying the wax packages used with Megatran 220 the formulator can meet or exceed the end user's demands for high quality floor finishes at very economical prices.
Megatran for High Gloss Finishes
Megatran 220 is highly responsive to burnishing programs. It offers an excellent combination of application and end use properties.
Megatran for Matte Finishes
Two matte finishes are recommended and they differ in the resin and wax combinations that have been built into each. Typically, matte finishes have been offered at lower solids levels due to the complexity of providing stable products. Our two new formulations can easily be formated at up to 25% solids with excellent freeze-thaw and viscosity stability. The Matte formulations are designed for ocasional burnishing where no "snap" in gloss is desired.
