Interpolymer Introduces it's new 100% acrylic polymer emulsion technology for application in conventional floor finishes. This novel technology, commercialized in Europe since mid 2003, provides several distinct advantages over other acrylic polymers. Our unique chemistry and manufacturing process yield acrylic polymers that offer improved stability, wider formulation latitude and lower viscosity in formulated systems. These properties contribute to a floor polish that is stable, has consistent viscosity with easy-to-use application properties and outstanding durability.
 The design of an all acrylic polymer platform is a specific answer to a need for a floor finish polymer that can be used in a variety of environments where reduced maintenance costs are desired. Syntran A170 floor finishes provide superior dirt resistance when compared to styrene-acrylic based floor systems. This allows the end user to reduce maintenance by extending the duration between the scrub and recoat maintenance cycles. This all-acrylic technology provides a cleaner appearing floor at a lower total cost. Syntran A170 floor finishes provide a moderate gloss appearance after the initial coating with excellent application and user properties. Syntran A170 is styrene-free and APE-free for a "Greener" polylmer system for high performance finishes.
