Syntran® 1950
SYNTRAN® 1950 is a water-based styrene-acrylate copolymer without added zinc. 

 





Formulations based on SYNTRAN® 1950 show the following properties :

 

  • High Gloss
  • Good Wear Properties
  • Good Leveling Without Fluor-Carbon Leveling Agents
  • Good Balance Between Detergent Resistance and Removability

 

Typical Physical Properties

  • PHYSICAL FORM:   Off White, Opaque Dispersion
  • SOLIDS:    40.0 %
  • pH VALUE AT 22°C:    7.5
  • VISCOSITY BROOKFIELD:    < 200 mPa.s
  • MINIMUM FILM FORMATION TEMPERATURE:    54° C
  • DENSITY AT 22°C: 1.06
  • FREEZE-THAW STABILITY:    Unchanged After 3 Cycles
