Syntran® Water based polymers

"Interpolymer has recently issued new applications

data highlighting that SYNTRAN® brand water

based specialty polymers improve the cleaning

efficacy of carpet care products.  Interpolymer's

new CARPET CARE MAINTENANCE INDEX (CCMI)

methodology provides a quantitative method to

measure the long term efficacy of cleaning products. 

SYNTRAN polymers can provide up to a 30% improvement in

carpet cleaning when compared to current commercial brands."

Depending on the specific carpet application, selecting the right specialty polymer is key to maximizing cost/performance.

  • If cleaning efficacy is the major requirement, Syntran 4020 or Syntran 4015 would be the choices for standard formulations 
  • If the cleaning product contains peroxide, Syntran 4020 will combine superior cleaning properties with excellent stability in peroxide systems
  • For resoil prevention, Syntran 4180 for standard systems and Syntran 4022 for peroxide-based products will provide the best results.
