Megatran® 240
Patented Polymer Technology from Interpolymer Corporation

Megatran 240 (US patent 6,020,413)  is a new member of Interpolymer's patented acrylic co-polymer family.  It has been developed to address the growing trend in the industrial floor finish industry for highly durable polymers that can extend the life of the floor.

Formulations based on Megatran 240 are recommended for Dry-Brite maintenance programs where the floor will be dry or wet mopped on a frequent basis.  For floors that may or may not be burnished and where a Scrub and Recoat program will be utilized, the highly crosslinked Megatran 240 will deliver superior gloss, excellent appearance and exceptional durability.  Overall, the combination of application properties and performance benefits that Megatran 240 delivers provides the end users with a superior floor finish and reduced floor maintenance costs.

Interpolymer has designed the full line of Megatran acrylic copolymers to provide superior cost/performance based on the customer's specific floor maintenance program.  Working closely with our customers, Interpolymer has become the polymer supplier of choice by offering a wider selection of specialty polymers built to deliver "beautiful floors at the lowest total cost."
